Commercial HVAC

Commercial HVAC for Businesses That Have to Stay Open

A failed rooftop unit on a Saturday lunch service costs more than the repair. We service commercial HVAC like your business depends on it — because it does.

Commercial Service

Commercial Equipment We Service

BakerHouse handles the full range of commercial HVAC across the Albuquerque metro and surrounding New Mexico communities. Restaurants, retail, offices, warehouses, medical buildings, light industrial — different equipment, different priorities, same response standard.

  • Rooftop units (RTUs) — packaged single- and multi-zone systems for retail, restaurants, and warehouses
  • Split commercial systems — for offices, medical, and tenant spaces
  • VRF / mini-split systems — multi-zone tenant spaces, hotels, and modern office build-outs
  • Make-up air units — restaurant kitchens with hood exhaust
  • Packaged refrigeration / HVAC combos — convenience stores, small grocers
  • Light commercial — under 25 tons, the bulk of small-business HVAC
  • Boilers and hydronic systems — older Albuquerque commercial buildings still running them

What We Do

  • Service and repair — diagnostic, parts, refrigerant, controls, and electrical
  • Preventive maintenance contracts — quarterly or seasonal plans tailored to your equipment and use pattern
  • System replacements and upgrades — old to new, with proper sizing and downtime planning
  • New construction and tenant improvement — design-build and equipment selection
  • Emergency 24/7 service — same response standard as residential, no after-hours premium

Why Commercial HVAC Is Different

Commercial systems run more hours, carry higher loads, and have less tolerance for downtime. The diagnostic skill set is different too — pneumatic and digital control systems, three-phase power, refrigeration and HVAC integrated on the same equipment. Our techs work with all of it.

Restaurants, Retail, Warehouses, Offices

Restaurants need fast response and refrigeration competence on the same call. Retail needs quiet, even comfort across long days. Warehouses need cooling that scales with summer load without crushing the electric bill. Offices need zoning that keeps the corner office and the conference room within 2 degrees of each other. We meet each one where it lives.

FAQ

Common Questions, Straight Answers

Do you offer commercial service contracts?

Yes. Quarterly or seasonal preventive maintenance contracts tailored to your equipment, run hours, and risk tolerance. We design the contract around what makes sense for your business — not a generic checklist.

How fast can you respond to a commercial emergency?

Commercial calls during business hours are typically dispatched within an hour and on-site within 2–3. After-hours emergencies are dispatched immediately and we keep refrigeration capability on every truck for restaurants and grocers.

Do you handle large rooftop units?

Yes — single-zone and multi-zone RTUs, packaged systems, and light commercial up through about 25 tons per unit. For larger industrial-scale projects we partner appropriately.

Can you do new construction and tenant improvement work?

Yes. Design-build, equipment selection, and install for new construction and TI projects. We work with general contractors and direct with property owners.

What brands do you service?

All major commercial brands — Carrier, Trane, Lennox, York, Daikin, Bosch, and more. We service the equipment you have rather than pushing replacement when service is the right call.
